Aesthetically we are not facing a great novelty. And is that apart from the 18-inch wheels, optional vinyl, black mirrors and red brake calipers, the GTS is a Scirocco with R-Line kit like any other.
For the cabin, the designers seem to have taken inspiration from the Golf GTi to create a somewhat special cabin compared to the rest of the Scirocco range: golf ball knob (despite equipping a DSG gearbox) and red contrast stitching on the seats, gear knob and handbrake covers as well as on the steering wheel.
The Scirocco GTS marks the arrival of an updated infotainment system for the entire Scirocco range for this spring-summer. Otherwise, the performance of the Scirocco GTS is identical to that of a Scirocco 2.0 TSI 220 DSG with 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds and an average fuel consumption of 6.4 l/100 km.
There is no official information about a possible launch of the Scirocco GTS in Europe or, therefore, a possible price.
