The new Abarth is also embellished with a double aquamarine line running 360° across the bodywork, satin chrome finish on the door handles and satin chrome trim on the rear door. Various aesthetic elements inspired by the Riva 56 Rivale yachts and the "695 Rivale" logos, together with Brembo brakes, an Akrapovic exhaust with carbon finish, Koni suspension and 17-inch Supersport alloy wheels, make this "little ball" an elegant missile on wheels.
The interior of the new 695 Rivale features carbon fibre corner protectors, blue leather seats like the door panels, black floor mats with blue inserts and a carbon fibre or mahogany dashboard, available as an option that gives the Scorpion an even more nautical character. The variant with the mahogany finish allows the Riva philosophy to be further enhanced: in addition to the dashboard stripe, it includes a specific blue and black leather steering wheel with mahogany visor, blue leather instrument panel visor and mahogany gear knob and corner protectors. This is joined by the standard Uconnect infotainment system with a 7-inch screen, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Under the hood hides a 1,368 cc engine that develops a maximum power of 180 hp and torque of 250 Nm, with a power-to-weight ratio of 5.8 kg/hp with a total weight of 1,045 kg, proportions close to those of supercars. With these mechanicals, the Abarth 695 Rivale manages to reach 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 225 km/h.
Unveiled together with the 695 Rivale, the Abarth 695 Rivale 175 Anniversary is presented, created to celebrate 175 years of the Riva brand. There will only be a run of 350 units, half of them coupes and half cabriolets.
The 175th Anniversary features 17-inch alloy wheels with a special pattern, celebratory badge on the exterior, handcrafted details such as two-tone color - blue and black hand-stitched on the leather seats with a celebratory logo stitched on the headrest, numbered plaque, and other details that should attract the attention of Abarth enthusiasts.
