Tesla Model 3 puts rear-wheel drive for incentives: here's how much it costs now

It may arouse curiosity, but not too much, the choice of Tesla to propose for the Italian market the Model 3 with single electric motor placed at the rear, in order to be eligible for state incentives. Surely the possibility of having a subsidized purchase of such a desired car will ignite even more the attention of motorists towards the zero-emission American sedan, which in itself arouses a magnetic fascination in these latitudes.

The lowering of the price

- government incentives launched by the Italian government observe a spending limit for the purchase of a newly registered electric car. This limitation was set at 35.000 euros plus VAT, therefore, 42.700 €. To have the Ecobonus-proof rear-wheel drive Model 3, Tesla has lowered the shot of its sedan which, now, has a price of 41.490 € (not on the road). Until recently, an outlay of 44.990 euros would have been needed to take this vehicle home.

Tesla, beware of options

The incentive assumes a contribution of 3.000 euros without scrapping or 5.000 euros with scrapping. There is, however, an insurmountable limit which is that of 42.700 euros, which cannot be exceeded in any way, otherwise it will no longer be possible to access the Ecobonus. Therefore, pay attention to the various options to attach to the car. At the moment, Tesla lets it be known through its Italian configurator that the basic version of the electric sedan is only available for purchase from the inventory, therefore exclusively for immediate delivery. In any case, Tesla says it has made more rear-wheel drive Model 3s available for delivery by the end of March for the domestic market, to give customers the peace of mind they need during the incentive period.

Tesla Model 3 rear wheel drive

For the uninitiated, the rear-wheel drive Tesla Model 3 with single electric motor has a top speed of 225 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,1 seconds. The autonomy, according to the WLTP cycle, is of 491 km.
