INTERNATIONAL RANKING Spain, we know, is not one of the most receptive European countries in terms of electric cars. Nonetheless, the market is growing. How do you react to the new Tesla Cybertruck, Elon Musk's pickup? The answer in the ranking of the 10 countries which, against the fully refundable deposit of 100 euros (100 dollars in the USA), they registered the highest number of bookings.

STATISTICS It looks like a plebiscite from the United States, where we know that pick-ups are the rage. The survey, however, is based on spontaneous responses from 1.800 members of the Tesla fan community to the data collection of an English forum. This may explain the fact that the top 4 nations in the ranking are English-speaking ones. As you can see, Spain does not appear. It is interesting to note however that a small market like that of Iceland, albeit with the due approximations of a homemade statistic, is as good as the French one. It is very probable that the ecological awareness of Icelanders contributes significantly to this result. And perhaps also the Blues' aversion to foreign languages.
THE ESTIMATION OF ORDERS At the time of writing we do not have precise figures confirmed by the American manufacturer, but it is estimated that total orders for the Cybertruck are between 450.000 and 500.000 units, for a value of approx $50 million in down payments alone. A week after the presentation, in which Elon Musk himself had shattered one of the pick-up's "armored" windows, the Tesla CEO had declared that he had already collected 250.000 reservations.
